Bōkan, one of our most exciting projects to date, has launched to great reviews and is destined to elevate drinking and dining experience in London to new heights!
Having guided everything from strategy, naming, brand identity and interior design to menu development and staff uniforms, we are incredibly proud of this stunning restaurant, bar and outdoor sky-high rooftop terrace.
Set in the top three floors of Novotel’s brand new, flagship skyscraper in Canary Wharf, Bōkan means beacon in Anglo-Saxon and has been created as the dockside guiding light for artisanal food and drink and to service both the hotel’s guests, and London’s adventurous, gastronomic explorers with a passion for intriguing, European-inspired drinks and dishes. From 37 up to 39, the interior’s ‘dockland chic’ concept takes inspiration from London’s historic Docklands area, with a unique and beguiling combination of industrial materials and luxury comfort. The 37th floor houses an intimate 65-cover restaurant, led by Head chef, Aurélie Altemaire and will showcase the best of British produce across a menu of European dishes; while the 38th-floor bar champions locally distilled spirits, intriguing cocktails, craft beers and a carefully considered wine list that takes guests on a unique journey of wine exploration. The roof terrace on the 39th floor, boasts the highest specialist gin bar in London, with comfortable leather lounging areas, outdoor daybeds and a DJ mezzanine - perfect to relax and enjoy the striking views across London. Bōkan has been the definitive challenge for our amazing team to showcase its incredible talents. We’ve produced a unique brand-centric experience, while demonstrating our ability to create a 360-degree premium casual dining experience at the highest level, literally!
