Entrepreneur, speaker, business developer and personalisation guru, Rich Askam has joined us as Advisory Board Member, tasked with using his extensive experience in business development, branding and packaging to help drive forward Mystery’s business.
Rich Askam has 30 years’ experience of hard-earned success. From the ashes of his family’s small chain of off-licences, he built one of the country’s most profitable independent wine merchants.
Since then, he has used his considerable business success as a springboard for further innovation, creating another start-up company, which is now the UK’s largest personalised gift business that has delivered significant profit for global brands, such as Barclays, Interflora, Coca-Cola, Unilever and United Biscuits.
Rich believes passionately that success today relies on a company’s ability to interact personally with every individual client – regardless of organisational size or geographic location. His vision, attitude and ideas have helped develop a variety of organisations, including Royal Mail, The Pack Hub and Pipers Crisps.
“I am delighted to have joined the award-winning Brand Design agency, Mystery as Advisory Board Member,” said Askam. “I was a client of theirs three years ago, so I know their skills very well indeed and look forward to working with the team to help them deliver their growth strategy.”
Dan Einzig, founder and CEO of Mystery, said: “I’m really excited about Rich joining the team as an Advisory Board Member. His wealth of experience with F&B consumer brands, his entrepreneurial business knowledge and his experience as a client of Mystery, combined with his enthusiasm to help grow Mystery in to a world class consultancy, is exactly the kind of force we need to advance the business.”
