This summer, Mystery celebrates its 18th birthday and with this “coming of age” dawns a new chapter in our story.

We’re excited to announce that a company restructure will empower the management board with responsibility for running and driving the UK office, while our founder and CEO, Dan Einzig continues to develop the business in the USA.

Following a recent strategic restructure, Richard Samarasinghe has left the company by mutual agreement after three and a half successful years as MD. Over this period Richard has helped grow the business, build a talented management team and build a strong portfolio of national and international clients. The Company thanks Richard for his efforts and achievements and wishes him all the best in his future business endeavours.

While Dan remains at the helm of the business, the management board is now responsible for the day-to-day operations in the UK, reporting to him.

This five-strong team, which represents the core areas of finance, strategy, creativity, client services, interiors and digital/IT comprises of exceptionally talented and experienced staff members; Janfranco Caro, Sarah Mannerings, Shân Rees, Greg Macdonald and Steve Sharp.

“I’ve never been so excited about the future of Mystery,” says Dan. “We’ve got incredible talent, a portfolio of fantastic clients and joint ventures, both here and in the US. I believe the culture of any business is critical to its success and that an energised team will deliver even better creativity and more efficiency for our clients“.

“This year is already shaping up to be one of our busiest yet, with a number of interesting, unique and inspiring projects on the go,” he continued, “and I know the team is embracing the challenge of running and developing the UK business with the same dedication, professionalism and enthusiasm with which they all manage their clients’ projects”.
