Greg Macdonald was Mystery's first ever employee, over 15 years ago, and is the agency's Websites Project Manager & Designer, working across all clients.
As a qualified and trained graphic designer – responsible for the agency’s own and its clients’ websites, Greg manages website design and development as well as client relations for all digital projects.
How did you get into design/branding? Following my A-level studies, I found that I was missing my desire to be creative and so enrolled on a National Diploma in Graphic Design, which perfectly combined my analytical brain with my creative needs! Effectively problem solving through art and design.
I pursued graphic design through higher education, graduating with a 2:1 and gaining my first full-time position soon after. 2 years later I felt the need to seek a position that was more challenging and offered more scope for skills growth. I came to Mystery and the rest is history!
What was your first project? Direct mail marketing for Delvaux Chocolates, and the very first Mystery Website!
What’s the best thing about your work? Working with clients, developers and designers means my role is varied and challenging. I get to meet a lot of very interesting and talented people, which keeps enthusiasm and creativity levels high.
