THE MYSTERY RESTAURANT WORKSHOPS
A huge number of people in the UK dream of starting a restaurant, but creating a successful operation from scratch is difficult to accomplish, especially if you’re new to the trade.
At Mystery we have worked in the restaurant
industry for over 13 years, with more than 30 brands including
Giraffe, which we have been with since their first branch until
today as they approach their fiftieth. Most recently, we’ve helped
launch cult food and drink establishments including London-based
Gino Gelato, Monkeynuts and Bubbleology, the bubble tea concept
that’s taking the UK by storm. We’re currently developing the
Za Za Bazaar, the largest restaurant in the UK
So to help people get into the industry, we’re launching a series of workshops for aspiring restaurateurs that will guide them through every stage of development in a restaurant business, starting on Wednesday 14th December with a crash course in launching a restaurant.
This workshop will guide attendees through the launch process, focusing on how to create a compelling concept that will shape everything in the restaurant, from the food to the décor. Mystery’s founder Dan Einzig will direct each course, joined by specialists from his team in design, brand positioning, marketing and concept creation.
Each year sees the dining industry flooded with exciting new trends and concepts. These workshops will examine how these concepts make particular restaurants perform well and how best to replicate their success.
The first workshop will take place on 14th December at the Soho branch of Giraffe on 11 Frith Street from 10am – 12 noon. Admission is free but spaces are limited. To secure a place, individuals should email enquiries@mystery.co.uk with 100 words on why they want to launch their own restaurant.
The workshop series are designed to take individuals through each stage of a restaurant’s development. The first will provide a guide though the initial launch phase, and the following will explain how to expand a single restaurant into a multi-branch brand and how best to reinvigorate established groups.
The series
will cover three topics:
How to Launch a Restaurant
Creating
a Compelling Concept
How to Grow your Restaurant into a National
Brand
Expanding From One To Fifty
How to Reinvigorate your Restaurant
Group
Maintaining Relevance In an Ever Changing Market
