How ad agencies sometimes win awards
As well as designing ad campaigns directly for our clients, Mystery is often commissioned by leading advertising agencies to help with the design of their print and outdoor ad campaigns. Although many of them have in-house design departments, they recognize their need for a top design agency to help conceive and/or visualize creative concepts that the end customers will connect with.
Having designed the D&AD award-winning press and poster campaign for Virgin Atlantic for RKCR, Mystery’s founder was asked to design a series of press ads to help launch JVC’s premium range of products, FutureVision.
By carefully targeting what we dubbed ‘the Wallpaper generation’ - the affluent, design savvy, lifestyle aspiring, style magazine readers - with stylised illustrations featuring the products set in ‘designer’ interiors, we were able to create environments and characters that the target audience immediately connected with.
